Tire Defect Cases

Corpus Christi Tire Defect Attorney | Texas Product Liability Lawyers

Tire manufacturer recalls are becoming more and more common, and every major tire manufacturer has issued recalls, including Ford Firestone, Michelin, Uniroyal, Dunlop, and Cooper. Unfortunately, tire recalls are typically issued only after a significant number of consumers have sustained serious or fatal injuries in accidents caused by defective tires. The Snapka Law Firm provides aggressive representation to individuals injured and the families of those who have been killed due to defective tires throughout the state of Texas. Our firm is focused not only on getting justice for our clients, but also on forcing tire manufacturers to make their products safer for consumers.

Tire defects cause tread separation and blowouts that can be deadly. It is too often the case that tire defects are the result of negligence in both the design and manufacturing process, leading to poor bonding or adhesion of tire components which causes tread separation and blowouts. When injury or death results from tire manufacturers' attempts to maximize profits at the expense of consumer safety, a product liability lawsuit may be necessary to compensate the victims and prevent the same negligence in the future.

If you have been injured or lost a loved one due to defective tires, you should seek the advice of an experienced Texas tire defect lawyer to explore your legal options. Kathryn Snapka represented a family in its lawsuit against Titan Tire Company. In that tragic case, the wife and two daughters were driving home from a church meeting when an oncoming truck equipped with Titan Tires sustained a blowout which caused him to veer into oncoming traffic. The pickup truck driver struck the vehicle in which the wife and daughter were passengers. The truck immediately burst into flames killing the occupants. Equally tragic was that another daughter was in a vehicle behind her mother and sister and witnessed the accident and its aftermath. Kathryn Snapka, along with relatives of the other passengers of the vehicle, prepared the case for trial and the matter resolved on the eve of trial for a substantial eight figure settlement.
